2023 - Strategy for Uncertain Times

As we look to the year ahead, its clear that there will be no let up in the complexity of what we face.  This makes traditional strategic planning a genuine challenge.  We need to reframe the way in which we develop our strategic models, as well as the way in which we execute our strategic plans. 

In this session, Chris will firstly explore some simple strategy formulation tools that are well-suited to an ambiguous environment.  He will then examine the critical nature of strategic agility and the role our people / teams play in that – through greater empowerment and diversity of thinking.  Chris will then draw the session to a close with a look at how gaming enables us to improve strategic resilience and risk management.  Like all Chris’ sessions, his emphasis will be on practical and pragmatic tools that can be immediately implemented by the listeners.
